I am not going to tell you that in the future you won’t have to get your house ready for showings because people will just be touring your house virtually. That would be nice. However, there are some very big advantages to having this technology available when selling your house.
- Before a person sets up showing, they can tour the home to see if it is truly a good fit for them. This could mean that you get less unfruitful showings.
- Many times families are relocating to the area and only one family member is available to see the house in person. People often give video tours in this situation. A 3D tour would be an excellent way for family members to tour the home virtually if they are not able to be there at the moment.
- After an initial showing, if a person loves the house they often don’t remember all the details. The 3D tour would allow them to go back through and solidify their thoughts on the house. This can be particularly helpful if there isn’t time for a second showing.
