Despite seeing an increase in sales this month, the year is shaping out to have fewer home sales than 2016. The lack of inventory is likely the primary cause as the pace of sales was was higher than 2016 earlier in the year. Furthermore, we are still seeing houses selling quickly and the Median sales price has risen when comparing October 2017 and October 2016.
